BOSTON – June 21, 2004 – The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA), together with Celestial Seasonings, Inc., will launch a targeted product sampling promotion in over 250 health clubs in six markets in late July.
The promotion, which will feature Celestial Seasonings Honey Lemon Ginseng Green Tea, is designed to increase consumer awareness of the healthy benefits of drinking tea and to reinforce Celestial Seasonings’ position as a leader in providing high quality consumer products.
Celestial Seasonings will distribute approximately 1,000 tea samples per club to consumers in six markets: New York/New Jersey, California, Chicago, Portland (OR), Seattle and New England.
“I expect that the Celestial Seasonings tea sampling promotion will be a great success with health club members,” said John McCarthy, executive director of IHRSA. “Club members represent a health conscious consumer who, I am sure, will appreciate the quality teas and products Celestial Seasonings has to offer.”
