President & CEO Of The National Federation Of Independent Business (NFIB) Will Discuss The Power Of Small Business
BOSTON – October 14, 2003 – On Wednesday, March 24, 2004, Jack Faris, President & CEO of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the largest advocacy organization representing small and independent businesses in Washington, DC and all 50 state capitals, will deliver a feature presentation on the power of small business in America at IHRSA’s 23rd Annual International Convention & Trade Show, which will be held from March 22 – March 25, 2003 at the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Under the leadership of Jack Faris since 1992, the NFIB represents over 600,000 small and independent businesses in the U.S. In addition to serving as a resource for its members, the NFIB’s primary purpose is to influence public policy at the state and federal level. The NFIB was recently ranked the most influential business organization (and third overall) in “Washington’s Power 25” survey conducted by Fortune magazine.
