Washington, D.C. mayor, Anthony Williams, has declared Saturday, May 3, 2003 “Get Fit Washington, D.C. Day!” and over 80 Washington, D.C.-area members of the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) will offer free workouts as part of a city-wide open house. A cornerstone of IHRSA’s Reshaping America campaign, the special one-day event will enable citizens to take exercise classes and use various area health club facilities at no charge.
